Oh you already have a fabtech 3” lift.but looks like stock length shocks. Of you remove the body lift you will still have 3” of lift and can probably run 30s no issue really.

The coils aren't too bad to get off. Just put a jack under the lower arm to support the spring load and then when you unbolt the spindle you release the jack slowly and the spring comes out pretty easy. ChrisFix has a video on it.

Thank you all for the info. I am gonna keep the fabtech on their. I just wanna replace what is needed to soften the front. So from what I understand, I need to buy two struts in replacement of the ones I have in their? Or...someone suggested I get them serviced..???? Still kinda lost sorry

Fabtech doesnt make those lift coils any more. Replacing coils means go back to stock height or buying a doestech lift kit

Okay. So I will buy new shocks and coil springs for my front end. Any ideas where you guys suggest I can buy them where they are already put together? Maybe more popular brands???

They won't already be put together, that's a strut. The shock will go in and then the coil spring, they don't bolt together like a strut

Okay. Just realized that's what was said.....duh. Sorry about that. I am going to need a special tool in order to fit the shock in the coil, correct?

Shocks come out with 3 bolts and can be replaced without jacking the car up. Coils require alot of work to change

I work at Fabtech and figured I'd chime in. The body lift definitely needs to come off to see if that is at least part of the drive-ability issues that the op wants to address. The shocks on there now look to be KYB's which could very well be one of the problems since we don't know the extended and collapsed dimensions of those shocks. The older style coil spring and uca lifts rode rougher than stock by nature due to the stiffer spring rate. We have since redesigned a kit that includes a 3" lift spindle that uses factory coil springs, factory upper control arms, and our shocks. This new kit brings the ride quality back to factory since the coil spring rate isn't as stiff as our old replacement springs.

If the op wants replacement shocks for the kit that is on there now the part number is FTS7078

Thank you for this info. I looked up that part number and it brings up the website 4wheelparts.com. I found what they call Fabtech Performance Twin Tube Shock Absorber. Is this correct? Is this all I need in addition to removing the body lift, in order to make the ride quality back to a stock feeling?
