    Thanks in advance

It might be a better question for the people over at softopper but I suspect thats not gonna be a problem even with an above the rail liner (I disposed of my oem liner long ago).

The only hang up could be because the softopper rails need to be clamped to the bed. I doubt the liner would specifically cause any issues. Even my softopper rails don't sit completely flat against the bed rail and my softopper works perfectly.

Are you talking about a Softopper or a soft tonneau cover? My Softopper installed perfectly fine without a drop in bed liner.

Softopper mounts to your bedrail with clamps like a hardshell, never installed a soft tonneau cover, but I can’t imagine it requiring a drop in bedliner. You should be fine either way

I'm talking about a softtopper camper shell type. my drop in goes over the bed rails so I guess ill have to cut hole to clamp to the rail. pics would be nice when you get the chance. (on how you cut the holes) thanks

I don’t have a bed liner so no holes to cut for me, the clamp snaps on the top of the Softopper rails then hooks underneath the bed rail. It’ll make sense when you’re looking at the clamps. I took my Softopper off so none of my pics would help anyway.

Just mark and cut a slot for each clamp, pretty straightforward
