Do any of you soft topper owners notice loose Fabric in this area? I just installed my softopper last night and haven't had a whole lot of time to play with adjustment but I did screw around with it a bit and could not get rid of loose Fabric near the front passenger side.

Anyone have any tips or tricks to get the whole topper nice and snug?

i just installed my softopper about a month ago and am still adjusting here and there. not that the fitment is bad, but more so because of my ocd sees areas that needs adjusting.

hows it look on the driver side? i wonder if the bottom snap on the rail closest to the cab was installed too close to the end of the rail? im trying to think of what adjustment would need to be done to get rid of the wrinkle. if the driver side looks good, compare the measurements of the snaps from passenger to driver side.

Deleted my pictures because they were no help. I didn't even notice those wrinkles and you said PS. I'm not much help today. ha!

I have the exact same problem. It goes away when you pull on the upper corner. I haven't tried to re-stick the velcro. It might fix it.

Any suggestions? How is it holding up?

Let's start with the obvious questions. Are you sure your rails are even with each other (same distance from cab)? Parallel? Did you cinch the hoop frame down reasonably tight before doing up the side snaps?

When not rolling up the sides, the safety straps need no tension on them. I have mine set with just a bit of sag for the end clips to not rattle in the hoops.

Once I was happy with everything, I re-did the velcro on the front panel, as was mentioned above. That should get everything just right.

After the first day or so, I did go to the lowest pivot pin position. The top was too tight when new.

Check what Rock Lobster said first. The top of my canvas is about 1 inch from my cab. Make sure the Velcro on that front piece match up so you get the best grip to one another. Get the straps tight all around and that should correct the problem.

As many as I can fabricate
If it needs some tightening at the curve try placing a small piece of foam between the material and hoop at the corner. It should pull the fabric up and forward. Just like a table that wobbles. Matchbook does wonders

The bars had indeed pulled inward on both sides so I tightened them (fear bending the utility track). I didn’t tighten the straps down tight this time and checked for center on the front window. This all helped, but I still have this bit of slack or tension applied in wrong positions as seen in the photo. The passenger side stretched out fine. I even measured the fabric up front to make sure it’s cut the same, and it is.
It’s not a big deal and will hopefully stretch out after being in the weather. I will keep fiddling with it too.
Thanks for all the help! This is a great resource.

Was this ever resolved? I am having a similar issue on the drivers side near cab. Everything else is tight.

Also, do others rails twist inwards with the top installed. My rails slightly twist into the bed.

    Happy Turkey Day Everyone!

Install it where you want, cinch it down where you want, drive it.

The air pressing on it as you drive irons out the wrinkles.

If i roll my sides up and leave them like that for a day, it will be winkled again until i drive it for a day or two

Have u adjusted the arms where it pins off to the rails? @tonered might have some info on it.

My rails are definitely twisted inward towards the bed.
