When did you notice changes? Immediately or how long after the update? I’m a tank of gas in and notice nothing.

I noticed the decrease in lag pretty much right away. The truck relearned some it’s other behavior about a week in. However, the early lag was much less noticeable. I did start driving with a heavier foot after the change and maybe that helped the re-learning process a bit. However, I feel the update took away that early lag pretty well.

I hope you guys can help me, I tried researching a little but didn't come up with anything, I am trying to do the update myself and I cannot get the cuw files to work. When I click on them it says that the software has to be registered. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

You need to fully uninstall TS and start again. Follow the installation instructions. Mainly, once it is installed replace the menu.exe file with the one in the zip file. Then, enter the text in the key.txt file.

And make sure you have the right VIM selected in TS too. It’s not as apparent as the CUW file.

And make sure you’re using a Tactrix! Not a generic USB cable.

I have techstream itself working, finally. I thought the cuw file is separate from techstream.

If TS is working and connects to your truck, the file should load.

TS is working, I messed with it a little. I changed the amount of flashes when you bump the turn signal to 4 just to make sure it was working and it did. I tried deleting the files and redownloading them, but that didn't change anything.

Is there anyone who has posted a tutorial on how to do this?

If TS is working, the CUW should work fine. I assume you’re selecting the correct VIM and update file?

VIM is openport 2.0, I'm not sure what the update file is.

You said TS v13.x. As far as I'm aware v12.x is only hacked version out there. Might be the issue

It’s not. The links in the OP work.

Update on my situation. I installed the older version of techstream and the cuw file started working. Might help someone in the future.
