Perfect. I'll report back what they say tomorrow. I know the service person is going to say that they ran my VIN and no TSB's applied. Any ideas, other than showing them the TSB 013-19, to get them to plug the ECU into Techstream?

    Good luck.

I used to think that a good story and giving helpful dealers a TSB with our ECU IDs would be enough to get the job done. Now, it just looks like luck.

I like the skip dealer, install TS, install TSB. Done in 10 minutes. Pretty sure most people can’t even drive to the dealer in 10 minutes.

I'd do this myself, but haven't researched what I need to do so.

you need a tactrix (odb2 USB adapter). Then you just install techstream (link in @tonered signature). Download the CW file. Double click the file and follow the instructions.

    it’s stupid simple.

There’s a bunch of us that have done the TSB ourselves and helped others do it. Just helped @ajmogen update his earlier.

That's right, just flashed my calibration file to 04B13 today. Thanks to this thread, @Shellshock 's tech support, and a bunch of good info from @tonered posts

    It was a tense 2 1/2 minutes

There was a post somewhere. Not very detailed, but something about having version 3.0 software and not being able to use it to tune Subarus / Mitsubishis?

There are no warnings that I have seen about using the grey Tactrix with OVT.

Either way, the tuning kit is +/- $170 if you buy the kit with or without the Tactrix.

I took TSB 0013-19 printed out and showed the dealer (second time trying to get the update). They ended up saying that they did see an update, but it was for the automatic. I referenced the 04A7100 update and they agreed to update it, but it would cost $100 because it wasn't covered under warranty. I had them do it, but the work order just says "REFLSH CAR PER CUSTOMER REQUEST". I really hope they applied the update.

Driving home I don't notice much difference at all.

Wow, cannot believe this is still a issue with dealers...starting to become a "can't get this sticker off" journey.
