    Good morning brothers and sisters,

I recently took Zulu in for my 5000 mile service. Nothing much, mainly just a fluid check and tire rotation. When I got him back, I went straight home and had to travel a bunch over the past week and half.

Before I sent my truck in, it had the hesitation and stuttering that I've heard people mention on this site. I never mentioned it to Toyota, but since this service, all of that seems to be gone.

No hesitation, no surging, it's smooth as hell now across the whole RPM range...

It's seriously like a whole new truck! :yay:

Is there a software update the dealers are pushing out?

The dealer will put a sticker under the hood saying the update has been done when they do it.

Folks in the update thread have noted that does not happen very often.

I'll have to check it out again, but I don't recall seeing anything regarding the software.

Do you have a log in for the toyota owners site? If so, you'll see everything there, that is if the dealer puts it into the system correctly.

Is this thread referring to the ECU flash?

I had mine updated last fall by telling them that it's stalling at high elevation (Automatic shifting TSB). I logged in to the Toyota owner's site and it shows as follows:

    08/14/18Repair Order Number: 1019628
    REPROGRAM ECM (PCM)
