Sokietech bolt-on hood struts/lift review

I got min on E-bay.

 

I had them in my Amazon cart for a while and now they're gone.

 

Probably messed up like every other supply chain.

I bought the Sokietech but they look the same and fasten in the same locations.

 

They do. I'm laughing that they're coming from Monroe Twsp NJ, I used to live there haha... but also why I question lol

 

Local warehouse I suspect.

 

Table for fitment reads that they won't fit the '21, but would a '20 - I'm good right? they didn't do anything under the hood between the years?

 

TMK, I dont think there is any change to the hood mounting points.

 

They have a 30day return - I'll give em a go - thanx all

 

Note, if you want to install ditch lights in the future I suggest getting the brackets and install at the same time.

 

I have them installed on my '21 OR, no problem.

 

Do you find ditch lights helpful? I have the OEM LED headlights and fogs

 

I use them sometimes when going out to my parents in the boonies because there are a lot of deer that run near where they live.

 

I actually have a pair - with bed rail mounts... I've debated about putting them on the hood

 

So how are they holding up? Anyone live in cold climates notice any issues?

 

No issues on my end.

 

I am getting ready to get ditch lights for the same thing deer in the boonies. Do you run LED or Amber? I would think LED is best for this purpose but maybe you have some words of experience and wisdom to share. Also are you running spot or combo?

 

I'm running spot with clear lense.
