My truck does not have an outlet in the bed. And I wanted to keep this set up separate from the truck battery. I had used a Togo Power 650 and the fridge used about 50% in about 12 hours, however the draw back of this set up is the TOGO can only take in 100W solar. And the max I got was about 70W full sun and tilt angle output from the panel. With cloudy day and panel laying flat on the roof, it would get even less. Beside the fridge, I wanted to charge other batteries like phone, camera, headlamp, lantern, power up lights on truck bed, and eventually a HAM or CB. My TOGO 650 could not handle all that. But if you got Jackery 1000, you might be able to do so with 12V outlet from the bed in addition to solar panels. Let us know when you complete this project. TIA.

If I recall, mine spiked about 3 to 4x the normal operating amperage on startup. It's much less if you start each compartment separately.

By luck I opened my app to check for power/battery status and saw I was getting more than 200W from two 100W panels. It was due to panels being cold in cold weather. One time I move the truck from shade out to sunny spot, input current to battery went up to 13 A. After about 5 minutes it dropped down to about 9.5A when panels were warmed up by the sun. I knew about this behavior of cold solar panels, but was able to see real data. See picture below. I got 219 W out of possible 200W.
