How old is the cover? Overall condition? (i.e. no rips, tears, leakage points, etc.)

And... ever make it into AB? or to the mountains?

I'm not sure the exact age as it came on the truck when I bought it ( ~2.5 years ago) but Overall condition is great! No rips or tears or "weathering" and both securing hooks (used in the rolled up position) are still intact. Locking is still crisp and holds secure., As for leeking points, the back near the tailgate MAY allow some water in if the weather strip is not correctly in place ( inside of tailgate VS outside - See below). Even if it isn't correctly in place, it still seams to hold out water quite well.

    Good

    Bad

Depending how you are parked (strange angles - straight lean front and back are usually okay, its when your leaning left and right while parked or left on jacks like i currently am) could allow some water to get in through the tailgate area mentioned above or potentially one of the 4 corners . Im currently sitting at an angle (back and driver side) here and its raining here (not too bad yet) so later I can get Pictures of any water that manages to find its way in. I assume this leeking through the corners would happen on all these models as the design does seam to leave small gaps here.

Additionally the side rails can be adjusted slightly and I currently have a pretty big gap here and it still holds out water quite well.

As for going to AB or the mountains, I am flying back Calgary in about a week and could potentially pack it in an extra snowboard bag I have, Id just ask Baggage fees be covered in this situation as I intend to do carry on only. I intend to drive from Calgary back out to Vancouver around the 25th or 26th and could meet somewhere along the way. I also have some friends going into the Vancouver area around the same time in which I could send it with them.

Thanks a ton for the pics and detailed response, that's awesome!
I won't be in Calgary to meet you, as I unfortunately live quite a bit further north and will actually be in Ontario across the dates you've mentioned.

However, I have some friends in Calgary and I will touch base with them and see if they would be willing to pickup/store the cover for a short time before I can get myself down there. I'll check in with them today - what dates would you be in Calgary?

I would ask about straight up shipping it out to me, but something tells me shipping costs would negate much of the savings here...

Something came up today where I had someone look and mentioned the weather seal behind the back cab windows. This seal is attached via a foam strip with "tape" on both sides. When removing this, Im worried this seal MAY somehow rip, or not retain its stickness causing leeks on the next buyer - I called truxedo to address this problem and they do Sell a Replacement Part for this for about 20 Shipped
