SOLD 1992 Toyota Pickup DLX Extended Cab 4x4 22RE

For sale is my fathers 1992 Toyota 4x4 22RE. 198,000 on the clock. Blue interior (super clean, dash is not cracked, only defect is tear on side of drivers seat) and exterior (typical original paint fading). This truck has been garage kept all its life, has minimal rust underneath. Bone stock aside from an add a leaf to fix the saggy rear end these trucks suffer from. It is on 15x7 American Racing Baja Alloys. The headgasket will need replaced in the near future, very small leak but no overheating so far. A shop did find water in cylinder 3.

The pics arent the greatest, so I will post some of my own on here as well. I did add a bull bar since these pics (see Autotrader ad), but aside from that nothing has changed.

 

Depending on the rust (surface only underneath?), you should be able to get 6 or so on EBay once the head gasket is taken care of.

 

Well were seeing 6 on most all these trucks in clean condition. Since we were quoted just shy of $1500 to do the work, we put it up for $4500. We dont really have the time to go about fixing it. Rather see it go to someone wanting to do a rebuild.

Well driving around town it has yet to overheat, or really exercise any symptoms of a headgasket failure other than use water. If you took the backroads (220 to cheraw/florence) and kept it under 60 Id say youd probably be ok. Ive got a mostly full bottle of toyota red concentrate that I could give to you. Just have to check it every 50 miles or so to be safe.
