    ***SOLD***

I'd like to get $800 for it (shipped), without the thermostat, unfortunately I couldn't get that off the truck.

This was installed once I rebuilt my engine, but uninstalled so I could troubleshoot other issues, and never reinstalled. It has been programmed for a 2012 TRD-Supercharged Tacoma, but can be re-programmed by URD.

Price includes UCON, CAM Gears, USB cables and instructions on USB drive. You should be able to get the thermostat from URD. I accept PayPal, or cash if local (Houston area).

Do you know if it’s still charges 500-600 for the cam gears?

I'm not sure, I bought it new, without the CAM gears or thermostat and they only gave me $50 off...sounds like I got screwed.

This was just a recent one I seen on here. If they are around 100 I’ll take it.

Apparently, URD charges $500 for the CAM gears, even though they only credited me $50 when I ordered this UCON without them. SOOO, I'm going to lower the price so the owner of this unit doesn't get screwed as well.

    Price is now $800 shipped.

Whopping $50 off of order for already having CAM gears and thermostat:

He's been saying that for ages, I've wanted to get a set of cam gears for so freaking long. I don't believe anyone makes any separate ones, being they have to be made to URD's spec anyway. And legally someone with them can't just copy and paste there set into a cnc because I believe they are URD copyright. *Cue 007 music*
What if we created a group buy through a group pm for someone who has a set not installed and they got them to make copies. I access to CNC's all day every day. :anonymous:

I’ve done some reading. There maybe some options. I don’t think urd can patent a 5 degree pitch.

Poster said he had cam gears from AMR. But that’s what may hav caused his issues. The engine will develope a knock without proper cycle times for everything leaving the cylinders.

APR had the CAM gears first, not URD. It probably wouldn't be too hard to have a machinist profile the stock gears and create new ones with the key hole 3 degrees offset.

Found a picture showing the difference, this is with the key holes lined up.

I'm going by a machinist's office on Monday with my stock gears to see what they can do, and for how much if there is enough interest in a group buy type situation.

Yeah, $666.17 for each new gear, a bit too much. I've got another idea though, the existing gears can be "re-keyed" to the correct offset.

Yeah, I'd like to get rid of this since I don't even have the truck anymore, and it was only connected for about 2 hours before I pulled it to resolve other issues after reassembling the motor.
