Posting something unhelpful on someone's for-sale post? Today's world is so broken.

    GLWS OP. Wheels look sick.

Its true though. $3k for a set of wheels?? In SoCal OP might just get it, and good for him if so. But Id be very surprised if they sell for that anywhere else. Even considering what they are

Man, I'm starting to think I should take mine off of my truck... Not to sell, but to keep someone from trying to steal them seeing how much people are asking for a set nowadays.

I don't disagree. But it's also true that people should keep unhelpful comments to themselves. PM the OP if you want to share your thoughts so badly. Not you specifically, just in general.

@ManInTheMaze technically speaking, any comment that isn't someone making OP an offer on the wheels is an unhelpful comment. So far every comment on this thread is (including this one) is unhelpful.

I would argue that GLWS (or similar) is helpful, as it bumps the post. (My response to you right now is entirely unhelpful, sorry OP)

A comment criticizing is not going to help generate interest for OP. GLWS bumps the post and shows that you appreciate the items for sale, which may help to pique the interest of others. This is common sense.

Thanks for the commentary guys. And the free bumps haha.

For context..When these wheels pop up now, used sets a are selling for about 2k.
New sets have been sold between 3-4K.

Sounds ridiculous right? Yeah, I agree. But it’s not out of line.

I dont recall the statement Gearheadesw said as being a critique of the wheels. Gearheadesw said "750 per wheel?", which is a true statement.

His second statement seems to be what you take issue with "Todays world is so broken." That statement is not a criticism of the wheels. It is a criticism of the current state of the nation if you will. Nation, in this sense being the general inflation of the cost of goods and services, another true statement. While his criticism of the state of the nation loosely ties into the cost of the wheels, it was not a criticism directed at OP. Criticism in itself is not a bad thing.

Secondly, I would argue that saying GLWS does nothing more or less than bump the post so that others may see it. Its the same as saying Bump.
I would also say that this dialog is doing more to pique the interest of others more than GLWS due to the entertainment value.
