Welcome aboard. The big boi Ford Trucks have some bells and whistles for sure.

the taco has few; but enough of what you want/need.. and the 4WD system is a collective NICE!

You chose wisely, LB for the win. Carry more gear, sleep in the back with the gate closed, more room in a camper for living space.

Ugh, Bronco’s…. The name gives me flashbacks because mine was a II from hell. Get into III’s ? No thanks.

Broncos suck...old ones sucked...new ones suck even more. Total suck. You did right by getting out of that suck. But never should have got rid of your FJ.

100% The Bronco doesn't "suck". Many people love them and after owning one, I can see what they like. It's just not for me, and the Tacoma is an updated FJC with a bed, lol.

I have both and could not disagree more. They are two separate animals. If I had to get rid of one, I would keep my FJ and get rid of the Taco. It's kinda like kids; we would never claim to have a favorite but we all know that isn't true!

I'm jealous of the people who can swap back and forth between SUV and pickup as if they were a similar vehicle. For me, it would take some harsh adjustments to give up my truck bed and tow hitch.

Congrats on the long bed, Shark. Looks like a good one.

My SB wheels it's way into my cramped garage every night, camper trailer 3 inches to the right of the passenger mirror, tool chest 9 inches behind the rear bumper. Yeah, I'm hardcore. :anonymous::anonymous:

I'm more talking about build quality and feel of driving. Now that I've had both, Tacoma for the win. All day-Every day!

wow. Would love to own that but with the crazy current market I guess it will just be a dream for now. Perfect size for just the two of us close to retire couple.

Ford sells every Bronco they make. Somebody must like them.

You should trade that white long bed in for an electric lime long bed.

I like that color but I like white much better. Don't really like bright colors on a daily driver.

Lime green on the long bed looks more like dill pickle. That's a hard color to miss.

I see the Jeep / Bronco comparison to the Tacoma to be a bit unfair.

I am a former Jeep Wrangler owner and really enjoyed that vehicle, but I wouldn’t compare it to the Tacoma.

As the above poster said, the Jeep was like a “Transformer” as I removed the doors and swapped the roof between hard top, soft top, bikini top, and no top.

While that might sound fun, the reality is I had a garage full of Jeep parts and was constantly futzing around to configure the Jeep for the mission of the day.

Plus, while the image is great, the reality wasn’t. Try driving a couple of friends to the beach in an open top Jeep with beach chairs, a cooler, and a couple surf boards. Good luck, especially for the ride home when everyone is hot, tired, and dying for shade and some AC.

The Tacoma is just ready to go, all day, every day. Boring? Maybe, but I appreciate not having to think about the vehicle and concentrate on the journey.

Maybe someday I’ll be fortunate enough to afford a fleet of vehicles. The Bronco would probably be fun on occasion.

I wouldn't mind having a base Bronco 2dr manual, lift and tires. Along with a budget spec midsize pick up.

Should be around the same price of a well optioned fullsize pick up, if you don't need the payload and towing capacity of a fullsize.

I love that color on the Bronco!! I've seen a 4 door in that color locally and it's a great looking vehicle. The Broncos have been drawing my wandering eye since they came on the scene but I just can't justify the cost and likely maintenance issues.

Great looking Tacoma and welcome to Tacomaworld.

I jumped ship from my day one reservation on a 4 Door manual Black Diamond after the whole allocation mess and bought a Tacoma instead. I've had a truck and needed a truck anyway.

I get a little jealous when I see them around though. I'll likely own one someday as a second vehicle if I can get a manual 2 door for the right price.

Congrats OP! Long bed ...

I've never been a fan of Ford interiors. Like big buttons, too much in your face. I've admired now clean the Tacoma's interior is.

Nice truck. When you get it tuned with a KD Max tune you will even love it more.
