If they are actually selling tools cheap I’d like to grab the tire mounter and balancer.
    But yeah sounds good!

So NH Oil undercoating has been applied, so far super impressed with this stuff. Def a lot better then fluid film. I have 4 little contact spots from the lift to touch up but other then that it looks good. I'll snag some pics of underneath tonight. I'll see how it holds up in the winter, but lot of people by me are swearing by it

$200 from Fat Body Custom in Stephentown. The DIY kit is like $195 and then I figured by the time I bought new primer, paint, undercoat, and all the abrasives and such I would be over $200 and two days worth of work. So he has all the special attachments to get up into the rocker panels and the door jams to spray this stuff

Smart move. I am interested in what they use. Going to have to research it a bit.
Have you had it done before?

I’ve never used this stuff before. He did all of the schools buses and towns plow trucks so stuff has to be good. For brand new vehicles there’s a different formula that’s a one time permanent wax/oil that you then do touch ups. The more oil stuff is for vehicles that have seen a winter already and then you do yearly recoats.

It’s suppsoed to be a lot better then fluid film. I did that on the last truck and seemed to make things worse since it held onto all of the salt

Some crappy night pics. So one picture shows the difference between a coated and uncoated section. Probably 400 miles driving around and shit still is stuck on.

AH yes new snow tires will be here tomorrow! Already had couple of snow dustings so hopefully buying new snow tires will be justified

:( I'm not 100% sure yet. I do have the lifetime alignment from Firestone as well. The one out in Latham I wasn't the most impressed with since it took a negative review and some bitching for them to re-check it and even then it wasn't where it should have been. Mavis tire is a no, and the dealer is a no since its like $90 every time. There's a Firestone in Pittsfield and in Troy so I might try one after the new year if the alignment bounces out.
    You have any ideas?

Was thinking the FS in Pitts too. Maybe Ken will wrench at a place with alignment. That would be cool.

    yep..
I've been going to Tire Warehouse on Merrill rd. The manager there has always been super helpful and he overlooks the alignments being done. At least the past two times I was there!

Sorry to hear about Sears and your lifetime deal :(
