I feel like it should play the sound of an engine running, just so people get that placebo effect. If I got a hybrid car, it would likely be an accord. They actually look nice and get mileage similar to a prius.

Before I got the Taco, I really wanted a Honda CRZ. Its a sport hybrid. 6 speed manual, sporty, and as an added bonus a hybrid.. you can hear the engine though

I didnt want something old that was constantly breaking. Coming from an Element, and didnt want a civic. Was looking for something manual.

If I need to get a commuter car now, Id get a Yaris

manuals are a more and more rare breed. sad to know that one day they will likely be more or less extinct.

Need to wash/clay/wax, interior detail, and engine bay detail soon. Harder and harder to find free time nowadays though. Plus it will be discouraging to do all that work then have this stupid pollen cover it five minutes later...

Had a weird issue last night with my headlights. I turned the truck on and started driving for maybe a minute then tried to turn my high beams on. They turned on for about 1-2 seconds, then both headlights turned off completely until I switched back to low beams. It happened both with the momentary pull and with actually turning high beams on.

Then I drove for another maybe five minutes, and they worked fine?

    Anyone have any ideas? @TacoCat @ambiguous @memario1214

Strange, I have never had that problem. Maybe a ground issue? Only issue I ever had on mine was once I had the main controller box go out on me. The headlights wouldn't turn on at all. Apparently water got in the box. I ordered a new one from TRS and the new one that they sent was sealed much better than the old one, and also had a note in the directions to make sure that it was mounted a certain way (I assume to let water drain if it does get in, or to protect the electronics better). I rarely if ever use my high beams.
Just the other day I put a set of depo lights in. The passenger side shroud of my fx-r fell off, and was just hanging there. It was embarrassing. So I pulled both and put a set of depo lights in until I can fix the one with the messed up shroud. Need to find out what to use, whether jb weld, epoxy, gorilla glue, etc..

I have a couple of guesses, bit we have to do some clarification questions. If you go amd try to do it again, does the same result occur? All stock headlights? Fog Light anytime mod or anything like that been performed?

I'm going to test it again tonight, but like I said they worked fine maybe five minutes after it first happened.

    Retro'd HID's from ambiguous

Fog light anytime mod is done but didn't have fogs on at the time

I usually only use my lightbar from @memario1214 if I need more light but would still like to figure out the high beam issue lol
