Tried out my new foam cannon and power washer. Did a touchless wash with those first then followed with a normal wash. Used some new products like AmmoNYC hydrate moisturizer while drying and it worked very well. I've been watching a lot of his videos and his products/knowledge speak for themselves, so once I use up all my current products, I'll be using his products for most everything.

The paint needed to be clayed so I figured I would get it done before winter hit; followed up with waxing, glass cleaning, and interior detail/vacuum.

I also pulled my skids the other day to repaint and clean up the hardware so I sprayed the undercarriage with the foam cannon while I was at it. Didn't make it sparkle but better than before.

    THAT FLAKE!

I also found this little fucker trying to hitch a ride. He's inside the headlight lens...

I saw one guy post a picture where something died inside his gauge cluster. They find the worst places to crawl and die.

    Polishing turds

Finished repainting them and will put them back on maybe Monday. I also received an OEM bolt/nut to replace one of the bolts that goes through transfer case cross member to the frame wing since it was not threading at all to my liking.

I need to touch up my sliders too but it's such a pain to cover up the body and do the under side of the sliders with all the angles and shit. Maybe in the spring.

Any of you guys ever have your headlights stay on regardless of switch position? Started my truck up for about 10 min to warm it up, then turned on headlights and drove home from firehouse. Once I got home, headlights stayed on, regardless of stalk position or door open/close.

Pulled relay and fuses and headlights stayed on. Taillights turn off with stalk switch. Thinking bad headlight switch/stalk, but just weird it's bad at 50k? Also weird they still have power regardless of me pulling the fuses and relay. Only way I could get them to turn off was disconnecting the deutsch connectors going to each headlight...

The projectors have a separate fuse thats wired directly to the battery, doesnt it? Did pulling that fuse shut them off? If the stalk is shutting the tail lights off, it doesn't sound like the stalk to me. Maybe post a question up in the lighting forum.

    So...

Just went to check that inline fuse that comes off the ballast box to the battery, but reconnected the headlights at the deutsch connector first, and they stayed off by themselves. They then proceeded to operate normally off headlight stalk...

I think my truck is possessed... :notsure:

Funny you mention that, was just browsing around Toyota/Honda. KBB puts my truck at 21-23 trade in, ~25 private sale, but obviously doesn't take into account all the mods, which can help with sale or hurt depending on who's interested. 2018 Camry with the stuff I built out was $26K. Other option I would like would be a T4R, but minimum price I built out was $37K, which is probably a little too crazy for me right now. Only downside would be not having a vehicle to haul anything fairly large.

You don’t want a Camry. You’re young, get a fun car!

My 99 camry was bulletproof. Loved that car. Good sensible family sedan. A little boring to drive, but reliable as death and taxes.

Thinking about dropping back down to 265/75's with my next tire set...if I still have the truck when they wear out :spy:

I think my current set still has a good ~20K on them but if I still have the truck I'll probably drop back down for some weight savings and more importantly MPG and less gear hunting since the A/T has a really hard time searching for gears with the tall 255's, especially on hills.

I'd honestly like to go back to suspension like I had with just 5100's and leveled in the front but it's just too much work for what I want to handle right now, especially because I'd have to get different leafs, etc. Definitely not going to sink anymore money into this thing.

I smell a part out happening. Trade plus cash for your suspension? Not mine.

Who will winch me out in the snow?? And when are you going to look for MGM bedsides and a stock bumper?
