I got 10mpg the other day. But it was because my wheel bearing was shot, and I was driving with so much friction. Now its higher. Im going to High Tech in 30 minutes, to fix my alignment, and hopefully it will get better. Im still getting 14/15 average

I got 14/15 with the armor and supercharger, so you are in the same ballpark I was in. When I shed the armor, mpgs shot up to about 18 ish. After supercharger delete, I was getting around 20mpgs for the one tank I managed to fill up after it was off.

When I did all the mods, I didn't notice the mpgs dropping, since it was a little here, little there. When you do it all at once, it seems like a lot bigger difference.

Yea, I never noticed a drop. But i once got 26mpg. And I think its accurate because i was completely stock. Got 325 miles to the tank!

I expect it to go up maybe a 1/2 MPG at least, the combined weight of the skids was essentially another person in the truck. I was thinking about cutting the sliders off but my girlfriend needs them to get in the truck and not really worth it I think.

I'm at 14.1 MPG right now. I used to get around 17 before I added some of the other weight and the 255's.

I'm just working on building credit and savings right now so not really gonna mess with the truck too much if I sell it in the future.

Either you made a typo or you filled up after only using 12.5 gallons of your tank. :D

When I didn't have my bumper, suspension and 285's on I was consistently getting 330mi before the gas light came on. Now its 275-280 if I keep it around 70mph.... could only imagine what skids, sliders and more gear does...

Good way to build credit is a car payment, in case you wanted to test out the subie haha.
Seriously though, i would hate to see the truck go. I remember when it was stock :)

Considering I have zero credit history right now, I'm slowly working up to something like that :anonymous:

Patience is a virtue, which I've learned over the last couple years, wishing I hadn't put so much money into a truck I don't have the time to put to its full potential...

If you don't have a credit card, you should look into getting one. Put a little bit onto it, then pay off at the end of the month. That way you kill two birds with one stone. You build credit history, and you also build good payment history. Those two alone factor in for about half (or maybe up to 2/3) of a credit score. Credit history is almost as much of the formula as payment history is. The longer you have the cards, the better your credit history will be over time. Even if you don't use the card, keep it open. Also, if you can score a card with good cash back or points, you can get some bonuses over time. I like my costco credit card. Between the exec. membership and the card rewards, I get a pretty nice chunk of change to spend at my leisure at costco every year.

If you have no credit and nobody wants to give you credit because of this, you can look into co-signing for something with a family member. A car, a loan of some type, etc.

When I bought the subie, they ran my credit score and out of 850, I was 823. I have had credit cards since the late 90s, several car loans, two house loans, and no missed payments ever.

I actually just applied/was approved for a secured credit card from USAA yesterday (their option for building credit) so will start using it for things like gas and maybe the dinner dates with my girlfriend, and pay it off early every month.

I should’ve been building for at least a year now but better late than never. :)

That's what mine is currently for. I've got two. 1) Gas, groceries, and household items. 2) online purchases, going out and other activities that require a deposit or something. Usually Plane/hotel points so I can accrued them for a trip. currently 23 bought the truck at 21 with minimal credit & a fat down payment and been building it ever since. If you pay on time/early/rent an apartment. No reason for your credit score to be well off.

Sorry to rant on your build but also start thinking about 401k's, stocks, bonds low & high risks, and business endeavors. That is where you will build the majority of your portfolio. I've been in the real world since "19" with internships/coops and had the opportunity to invest into my 401k early with options. Already have superb amount of money save incase of a incident where I'd be out of work for a year or more. along with insurance covering the majority of all incidents. Something to look at you never know what will happen. Just a thought too ontop of credit scores

Chevron gas card when I was young helped build my credit. You're going to buy gas might as well get credit out of it too. With auto pay every month that banks have now you don't even have to think about it.
