Oh and yes feeling much better. The scars are still a little tender but the doc says thats cause the skin on the scalp is tighter and the hair adds sensitivity

its just the suction cup mount on UG's website. there is a port under the dash, right below the change tray

Yeah loving the retros. The pass side halo likes to go on and off though. First it was a bad voltage regulator. Now not sure what it is. Maybe a loose connection where i tapped the parking light wire. Havent had time to check it though.

    Wiring to me = :bananadead:

I really want Retro's eventually but I don't want any troubles because of the above, and, like I've mentioned before to you, it will be such a pain to adjust anything because of the three hoop.

I knew going in that the led halos werent greatly dependable. Thats why i figure if they keep acting up ill unplug and forget about them. And yeah it would suck to have to drop the bumper to remove the lights. But once you go hid you look at halogens in a whole different light, so to speak. Difference is like night and day. And i still havent tweaked the alignment on mine yet either :anonymous:

On the flip side you could check out those led lightbulbs that someone started a thread on. But they are like $150 a set

Yeah I have seen a little bit about those. Stock headlights are still doing the job well so I still have Retro's or other options listed for another couple years out on the mod list.

Parents graciously bought the bed mat, shifter, and UG last night for Christmas. :woot: Luckily I was able to find some good prices on all of them so it didn't cost too much.

Also, for anyone with an Ultragauge or with knowledge of them, how do the speedo (UG has a speedo reading, correct?) and MPG reading's work? Would I have to calibrate them somehow because of my slightly larger tires to get an accurate readout?

    TRD SHIFTER KNOB

Got the first of my three Christmas presents in today. I love it! It has finger grooves on the front and it looks and feels great.

I will also be selling my OEM shifter knob for $20 + shipping or $20 local if anyone is interested. It is in perfect shape and has been cleaned regularly.

Great looking truck Matt! I love the new shifter, too! I wonder if they have a T-bar handle upgrade???...

Yeah, I put it off for a while because it's not really a practical mod but my parents asked me what I would like for Christmas and they graciously got it for me.

    OEM BED MAT

Got the second of three Christmas presents from my parents today with the arrival of my OEM short bed mat.

I really like it. It will allow water to run underneath of it when it rains since my bed cover is not 100% waterproof and allow me to put things in the bed and not worry about it. I also cut squares in the front of the bed to allow access to my extra OEM tie downs. I actually used one of the squares and made a quick rubber base and zip tied it to the bottom of my Hi-Lift. Not sure if I'll keep it but I figured I could try it out.

Also had to mess with my right taillight a little bit, since the brake lights were out. Running lights worked but nothing happened when pumping the brakes. It looks like it was just a finicky connecter inside the actual taillight after pulling the "bulb" connection for the brake lights. Pushed them back together and it seems to be working now but I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Still gotta get a padlock for my Hi-Lift mounting bolts since ATO finally sent those to me...

That OEM mat is pretty sweet. I'm thinking of getting one just so the water won't touch any of the stuff I have under the bestop.

    Looks good man.

My brother has the BestOp and he got the Access Covers bed rug mat and he really likes it if you were looking for more ideas.

Idk, i guess whatever can just cover the bed floor, that looks good too, if i could get a knock off OEM bed mat, that'd work too.
