Picked up the set of used 255's from Phil (loco) today. Now the waiting game for my current set to wear out begins.

    Thanks again Phil!

Yeah, I'm really happy I jumped on the deal.

In other news, my UG is telling me I am averaging about 17.3 MPG after calibration, which is surprising (and good) news, since I had thought I had been getting about 15 since I put all the armor and tires on.

Got another question for UG guys.

So I just got done calibrating both distance and MPG, but my speedometer and UG seem to be showing exactly (almost) the same speeds from low to high speeds. Shouldn't my UG be showing a little higher speed than my stock speedometer, or maybe my 265/75's don't even throw it off enough?

    Thanks Skygear.

Lugged my 255's down to the basement for storage. Just gotta put another 10-20K on the 265's and I'll swap them out.

You can see the brand new one on the left of the picture, the other 4 have approximately 12K on them.

Hmm, I just expected it to be more like 1 or 2 MPH, but I guess the 265/75's are not big enough to make a difference.

I don't plan on it. Shouldn't be too bad with the V6.

FYI, 4.56's and 255's is too much gear.

What is stock again for curiosity's sake? I don't plan on regearing, I don't think (or hope rather) it will be too bad with the V6 and the way I drive.

The guy I bought my 255s from wanted to go back to stock size cause he didn't like the way the auto tranny seemed to shift at weird intervals with the bigger tires.
Your UG wont show much difference since you are only going from 265/70 to 265/75s. The 255s will throw your speedo off a little more. I think when my speedo says 55 my gps will say 59.

My auto already does that  I'll see once I put them on if I want to go through the headache of regearing. Hopefully it will be ok.

You'll be fine. IIRC there's only one weird shift point around 35mph indicates with the 255's and it's not even a big deal, just different.
