    YELLOW LAMIN-X ON ACRO LIGHTS

Installed the yellow Lamin-X film on my Acro lights yesterday. Not as hard as I thought it was going to be, but it certainly wasn't easy due to the curvature of the lights.

Going to try and get the Anytime Foglight Mod done sometime soon.

Does anyone know what halogen lights would work for the license plate lights? One of the LED ones I got from CSJumper started flickering and was crap, and I expect the other will start doing the same here soon since my dome light (also from CSJumper) periodically does it as well.

I've looked online but it seems that most only sell the OEM light in the OEM license plate light assembly, which I don't need.

You think these would work? I just want to make sure they would fit.

Check the connectors. On a few of mine I had to spread the wires out a bit from the bulb itself so it would make better contact with the female end of the plug. At first I thought I had a few dead LEDs till I started playing with the connectors. The vibrations and bounces of daily driving may be moving them around just enough that its not getting a solid connection.

Thanks! I like the look as well.

Both replaced at the dealer today since I was going to fail inspection (got it done same time as 25K service) if I didn't have it. Problem solved for a little more money than I wanted, but it's all right.

I am having the same trouble with my brake lights on my right taillight (OEM style LED lights from eGhey) though. Driving is seeming to bump the connecter in the taillight and my actual brake lights seem to short out unless I take the taillight off and disconnect and reconnect the connection. It's kind of a pain because I have to constantly check to see if that brake light is still working.

    ANYTIME FOGLIGHT MODIFICATION

With the help (meaning he did everything for my retarded self) of member Skygear today, completed the Anytime Foglight Modification and did a brake flush see if it would solve my spongy brake issue.

Helped a bit, but it may just be time for new brake pads.

I only have a little less than 25K miles, but my brakes just started feeling spongy in the last week or so. The flush helped a little, but it still feels like the brakes are not at full power when I'm braking from 40+ mph to 0 mph. The last 15 mph or so just feels like I'm putting the pedal to the floor to come to a complete stop.

Brake lines are the extended ones me and Skygear put on, and I checked and they aren't loose or anything. I will keep driving on them and just keep an eye on them for now.

    Definitely

Also had a question for anyone with any knowledge...my heat wrap that I put on after I got my exhaust rerouted has ripped about halfway off, so I will need to take it all the way off here soon. Do you guys think I am ok to have no kind of exhaust wrap? My exhaust pipe is 1 1/8'' at the closest point away from my T-Case.
