I measured on semi-flat road and it looked like it went down about 1/2''-3/4''. When I was in my garage yesterday (flat) I was sitting at about 23.5'' up front, and now I'm around 22.5-22.75''.

I'm going to wait until next Monday, crank them back up to where I want them and then go into Firestone and get the lifetime alignment.

Thanks! I need to find some time to come down and do some actual wheeling.

Yep, only got about 10 miles so far but keeping pressure light. I think I'll do 200 mi with light pressure, then another 100 of medium, then do the ten 60-10 mph stops.

Are they stiffer or still spongy like before?

I can't really tell so far because I have been barely touching the brakes. I'll have to wait until I start putting more pressure on in 150 miles or so.

I wanna be there to see you cut your bedsides to see the expression on your face. I think it will be priceless given the amount of care you put into the truck
Just make sure not to sneeze in the process.

it's possible for an alignment to alter height a little. how did your alignment numbers change?

toe in can force the suspension up, while toe out can pull the suspension down. lessening the castor can raise the trucks a little, and even extreme amounts of camber can change height. none of these will have too much of an affect on it's own, but it'd be possible to see a small change with all of them combined.

I thought the EBC stuff had a 1000 mile break-in? are the yellows just a shorter period?

I don't think it will be too bad. I'm just going to make a test cut maybe a 1/2'' below what will be the final cut, and just slowly make cuts going up while test fitting.

Final numbers were 0* toe, -1* camber, and 3* caster. They said they couldn't get camber closer to 0* without going way over.

My height went down maybe 3/4'' after alignment... :notsure:

From the EBC site, if you have both new rotors and pads, it's 100-200 miles of light pressure, 100-200 miles of medium pressure, then you do 10 consecutive stops from 60 mph to 10 mph, then let cool. Then it is just normal braking from there.

They say you need a lot more miles to bed if the rotors are not new.

So if you had a net of negative toe before hand, and a lower castor number, it's feasable that with the new numbers, that it's causing you to ride lower. ther other potential is that they checked your tire pressure before the alingment to make sure they were all at the same pressure, and dropped them all down to the factory 32 psi or whatever it is. can't hurt to check you rpressures.

Hmm. I will check my tire pressure. I think I'm still going to wait till maybe Monday or so and crank them back up to what I want them and then take it in and get the lifetime alignment.

I am now at about 340 miles total and I have full pad contact. Started the medium pressure at 200 miles and will probably keep doing it until I get to 400 miles total, then do the 60-10 stops.
