Nature of the beast when dealing with custom fab work. There are a lot of variables at play. Still sucks but best thing is to not stress it. It'll show up when it shows up.

This is all on Fastenal. Tyler completed my bumper and sent it to be shipped right on his initial estimated lead time. I ordered on 03/05/14 with a lead time of 12 weeks, and he had it dropped off for shipment on 05/09/14. He did an excellent job on keeping me updated and getting the bumper done on time. I wish I would've dealt with Pelfrey for my front bumper as well, they just weren't making them for 05-11's when I got my DO unfortunately.

Although I will say that Fastenal's normal time to ship from West Coast to East Coast is 3-4 weeks, so it's not like they have gone over their normal time to ship, they just have given me some incorrect ETA's for delivery.

I'm not stressed, I just want to get this bumper on already! :D

    NEW STORAGE SOLUTIONS

Finally got my storage solutions nice and neat. Removed the behind the seat storage bin on the passenger side so that I could fit my new Husky toolbag. I used to have a larger Dewalt toolbag that sat on the floorboard behind the passenger seat, but it didn't allow you to put the seat back and it just took up space that I wanted otherwise. Also have my four way tire iron, bolt cutters, jumper cables, and rear headrests on the passenger side. Fire extinguisher, MRE's, hand warmers, Mag-Lite, and miscellaneous survival equipment on the driver's side.

Also picked up four new 4'-12' ratchet straps and four new 1'-4'' locking tie downs. I cleaned out the under seat storage compartments and have everything nice and organized now. I still have the stock bottle jack under the passenger side for emergency's as well as the stock trailer brake harness and other miscellaneous fuses and such. I also have my whacker (fire department) lightbar under there but I only use it as a flasher in case I ever need to stop on the side of the road.

I have control freak tendencies, so this was very satisfying to organize :anonymous:

Looks good man! I wish I had a double cab for the extra storage space.

    Thanks!

Yeah, sometimes I think an Access Cab would've been cool, but then I get in situations where I need to load the truck up to the max, and the under/behind seat storage is really nice to have.

Wasn't sure how similar they were. Yeah, the extra storage is definitely really nice to have. Really glad to have everything nice and organized now with no wasted space and nothing back there that I don't need to have.

Let's see if I can make a list of tools/equipment, etc just for my curiosity.

Glovebox: Winch controller, winch hook, owner's manual, work gloves.

Center Console: Small flashlight, ~50' of 550 cord, cigarette lighter, fire starter kit, SOG knife/seatbelt cutter, window punch, Gerber multi-tool, other miscellaneous stuff.

Under Driver Rear Seat: Four 4'-12' ratchet straps, four 1'-4' locking tie downs.

Behind Driver Rear Seat: Fire extinguisher, Mag-Lite, two MRE meals, pocket valve CPR mask, medical gloves, more 550 cord, 20' of 1' webbing, Chem-Lites, pocket flashlight/whistle/chem-lite, extra fleece jacket.

Under Passenger Rear Seat: OEM bottle jack, fuses, fuse puller, OEM trailer brake harness, extra OEM rear view camera connection, "whacker" lightbar.

Behind Passenger Rear Seat: Husky 14'' toolbag (Phillips/flat head screwdriver, tape measure, electrical tape, 3M outdoor double stick tape, vise grips, pliers, crescent wrench, wire cutters, wire strippers, crimper, extra small/medium zip-strips, scissors, cigarette lighter, box cutter, rubber work gloves, Estwing hammer), jumper cables, rear headrests, bolt cutters, four way tire iron.

Truck Bed: Small Dewalt toolbox (folding shovel, 20' recovery strap, ARB Tree Protector Strap, leather work gloves, extra D-ring shackle and trailer hitch mount, Estwing hatchet) and Hi-Lift offroad base bungee corded to OEM bed extender, 48'' Hi-Lift mounted to bed rails, extra bungee cords, extra OEM bedrail tie-downs, extra OEM D-ring tiedowns in front of bed, OEM bed mat.

I think I may have forgotten some small stuff but that's all I have in the truck right now. Some of my other tools and equipment stay in my room, garage, or in my fire department gear. I think I want that axe you've got. I've seen some other members with it and they seem to like it.

I think I'll also throw in some extra socks, etc like you have just in case. I have plenty of room now that I've reorganized.

    Matt
