Going to his house on Thursday...if anything, we can just do it so I can turn on the lights at anytime, which I would not mind anyway.

Or, just tie into reverse lights...although I would rather have the ability to turn them on independently.

I'm on my work Friday. I can bench test some stuff tomorrow (later today I guess) or Wednesday and let you know what I find.

Don't remember off the top of my head I'll have to dust off my wiring diagrams lol

Simple. Works just as I drew the picture. One position it will be on with the stock reverse lights and the other position it will be on all the time. I wouldn't think of of it as an off on switch, think more like what contacts are being used (NO/NC) and where you have them hooked up to. Without a double pole switch you have no option to have the lights not on while in reverse.

BINGO! That would certainly work. Only thing is you couldn't have them totally off I suppose. Not sure why I didn't think of that option :goingcrazy: Night shift work with be the death of me

TRD spare wheel came in today!

I think I'll call and schedule the mount and balance today. Hopefully will have the 255's and matching spare on within a week.

Thought you were waiting until the current tires wore out?

    I couldn't wait :anonymous:

I should be able to get at least $450 back for my set of four KM2's and the full size spare. Considering I only paid I think $500 for five almost brand new 255's, I am still doing well.

    :)

I'm excited...Already did a little bit of flare trimming at the very bottom but I will have to see what else I will have to do when I mount them. I shouldn't have to do much though since the tires are so skinny.

I just did a tiny bit on that weird curve out on the very bottom of the flare on the inside of the wheel well since a local member that has 255's needed to trim the same spot a little bit. It looked weird anyway :)

Nothing special but I'll put up pics tomorrow...will probably trim some of the other fender liner that sticks out a lot too.

This doesn't sound promising :( i was hoping to so do a 2.5-3" lift with some sort of LT255/85R16

i liked that set up because no trimming. But now you say there is trimming :|

No stress, (to borrow Skygear's phrase) my friend...there should be no need to trim for 255's, I am just trimming more for my sake. I am also only running maybe 2" of lift in the front, although lifts do not necessarily allow for bigger tires :)

I may run 285's in the future so this is more for that.

Installed Rigid SRM-FM back up light kit and OTRATTW switch with Skygear today. (Huge thanks again to Skygear, I literally couldn't have done it without you)

We wired it up with the SPST OTRATTW switch I had so that when the rocker is "off," the Rigid's come on automatically while in reverse. I can then turn the Rigid's on independently even if I'm not in reverse. Installed it next to my lightbar switch on my shifter trim.

Skygear also graciously cleaned up some of the wiring that was done when I took my truck to the shop for them to wire up my lightbar and switch.

These things are super bright! The picture below does not do it justice. I put the truck in reverse and you barely see the OEM reverse lights on the very outer edge of the Rigid's light pattern.

They will be great to have while camping, etc for extra lighting.

Also going in tomorrow morning to have my 255's and matching spare mounted.

AR15xAR10, here's a quick pic of the small trimming I did you were asking about. All it is was the small little curve out at the bottom of the flare that sticks out.
