Got the DO bumper and winch off today, starting to clean and paint Pelfrey now. Hardware bag for the extra frame braces either got lost in transit, or I missed it when disassembling the package and pallet, so Pelfrey is going to send it soon.

You may also spy my new VIP lightbar behind the grill :) Getting a buddy at the firehouse to help me wire it up tomorrow. Should be easy as all I (my buddy...) should have to do is splice into the preexisting wire with the new quick connect and connect in the new lightbar.

Hardware is only for the additional frame braces, so I can put the bumper on without it luckily.

I may be running without a bumper tomorrow (just zip tied the license plate on the front) but, if time works on my side, I should be able to finish painting up tonight then put the winch on the bumper tomorrow morning before class, then either put the whole thing on before class if I have time, or bolt it up after class before I have to go to the firehouse tomorrow night. :)

    I may

Looks like I'm not gonna be able to finish painting tonight as its too humid. (started raining) I did finish full primer coats of the whole bumper, then all coats of black on the underside, so I will just have to do the coats of black on the front tomorrow morning.

Will then probably have to rush and get the winch and bumper on before shift tomorrow night, or just run without a bumper for tomorrow day and night. Could also skip out early on class and get home earlier to finish up

Oh well. Gonna relax and play some Far Cry 4 until bed :D

Got the front end buttoned back up!!!

I can see how I was a little hesitant getting the full hoops going off pictures, but I am very glad I got them, as they look absolutely amazing in person! Very happy with the purchase. Front end is now about 60#-70# lighter too.

Sorry for the potato quality pictures. I'm rushing to get all this done before going to the firehouse in about 15 minutes. Gonna get my lightbar wired up tonight also!

    :)

Yep, it's pretty solid, and that's even without the extra frame braces I will put on in the next couple days once the hardware comes in.

Murphy at work with the fluid film issue :D

Nice! I'll try and get them regardless.

Thats awesome! I think i'll be shopping for an aluminum plate bumper when i finally get lifted and armored

And isn't it just wonderful? I decided i'm going to coat it and then ride around all winter allowing the coating to diminish, then toyota can inspect it and re-coat it :)

Nice...I think aluminum is the way to go for bumpers but not necessarily for skids and sliders.
