It is stupid bright...now when I use it at night, then switch it off when other drivers are coming towards me, my low beams feel like fog lights

Extra frame braces for front Pelfrey are on. I now feel very confident winching and recovering off the bumper. Total of 12 attachment points...3 on either side with stock studs, 1 bolts on either side going through bumper, crossmember, and bolting on rear side of cross member on the Pelfrey brace, then 2 stock sway bar bolts going through frame brace on either side.

Just looking on weather history for that day and it was about 60* when I applied it I think.

Thank you Matt. I just applied 2.5 cans in a heated garage at about 65* and so far i hate it. Its a pain in the dick to apply without getting it all over the place and all over yourself. But we'll see how it lasts.

Hahah really? I found it pretty easy in the spray can format...I could see it being difficult in a roll on method though.

Sorry to hear it wasn't as easy for ya :)

Its not your fault i'm whining lol. I think i had rather brushed it on than spray it actually. But ultimately i'd like the frame to have been hydro dipped in gloss black.....the world is not perfect though

Washing the frame was less aggravating than spraying the fluid film. I was cautious not to get it on belts, hoses, drive shaft, brake parts, body mounts....its all over my exhaust but i guess it'll burn off :notsure:

Yeah I'm basically just trying to stall for time with the frame. I know I won't be able to stop all the eventual rust but maybe get another year or two out of it.

My cab mounts have pretty much stop creaking finally

Me too...I think the lines of the Pelfrey are a lot better...nice and clean :)

It also helps my OCD to have Pelfrey on front and rear :anonymous:

I won't bake mine apart and paint them either. The hell with that. I'd rather pay someone to build me a retrofit :D
