I've been eyeing them since he posted that thread and my parents just asked me about what I wanted for Christmas so it was good timing...they're going to pitch in a little and I'll pick up the rest for a present to myself. I deserve it right? ;)

I think I'll be happier with the look and output of these rather than the LED headlights I was planning on getting within the next couple months,

Retros win hands down. Thoroughly impressed with the output and clarity of of them. More output than stock headlights, fogs, and the blotzpro bar combined.

Excited to see how they are. Are aiming retros the same as aiming headlights with the little screws on the top?

Yup, it just moves the reflector bowl. I think its a height of 40 inches at 25 feet?

Retro's should be sent out tomorrow!

FXR 3'' projectors with Apollo shrouds, BHLM, smoked reflector and clear turn signals. I also requested 5000K over 4300K. I like the whiter look from HID's, but hopefully they won't have too much of a blue hue. Talked to people with 5000's and looked at pictures and it seems that 5000 puts out the color I want without being too blue and ricey. 4300 is supposed to be more like OEM color.

    Excited

    :)

I think the only thing I might have requested, if this wasn't a pre-ordered set that someone backed out of, would have been amber halo's, but honestly they aren't a deal breaker for me so it's all good.

Blue will definitely get your attention when you see those ricer blue headlights which confuses driver's when law enforcement is actually trying to go somewhere.

I will tell you from the perspective of someone who drives and rides emergency vehicles that the majority of drivers automatically become complete and utter retards when they see emergency lights and sirens...trust me, they need as least confusion as possible :)

There's a reason the law reserves lights for certain things. It keeps everything consistent for construction/tow vehicles, police, fire, etc.

Cannot decide, but nothing will happen until all christmas gifts (for others) are paid for and wrapped.

I do have a list of wishful mods for 2015 though... :spy:

Retros are here but they will have to wait until after finals because I'm just too busy, plus I think I will have to loosen up the bumper to get to one of the side headlight bolts. I tried but it doesn't wanna come out.

Also epoxying a crack that happened during shipping of one of the bolt mounts.
