I'm excited...I was trying to win a GoPro Hero(3?) at my fire department banquet but didn't get it so this will be nice.

The price of their different mounts is insane though!

    :)

So hard to decide! I am thinking one possibility may be to get it in gunmetal, see how I like it, then possibly powdercoat them matte black afterwards if I don't.

I'm just worried about the "black blob" look if the wheels are black with the tires.

Buy Bead Locks and stop with this nonsense. You can spray them from day to day depending on what color you want.

I like being able to do any work on my wheels myself. I can take them off the truck, off the wheel, patch - plug- replace tire, bolt it back together, air up, and put back on.

Only thing I need the Tire shops for now is the FEAM (Front End Alignment Machine) -_-

Yep. No super special tools with the for me so far. Low PSI was a plus.

Was 3psi today on some snow/ice for the hell of it.

Looked at the Hutchinsons, couldn't find them available at the time. Plus decided to go with a 5 Star pattern that I liked in a different size.

Just put myself on the waiting list for SCS for matte gunmetal. It doesn't bind me to anything even I want to choose a different finish or even a different wheel by the time I want them.

I figured I should put myself on the list at least since SCS goes out of stock fast...would rather buy them a little early than wait until I want them and have to wait 6 months for them to get back in stock.

Good real world pic from V5ioV of what my truck will look similar to with the F5's.

    :)

Timeline is about two years from now. Currents weren't brand new when I got them, so I'm thinking they will have had close to 30K of wear on them once December 16 rolls around.

They won't be out of service with 30K but I'd like to replace them before they get too low and I can get some cash back from selling them on CL.
