Custom Escort/Beltronics Radar Detector Smart Cord built into switch blank.

This will pop into the switch blank to the left of the steering wheel. I made this about 5 years ago or so, it was on my 4Runner, but as you can see in the photo it will fit the Taco in that one spot.
On the Tacoma I ran power down to the center console, and tapped into the 12V for the cigarette lighter power in the console. There is enough cable to run up to the GoPro mount or the rear view mirror or wherever you installed your detector.

Mute button and both LEDs work fine.

Yeah this is great. I caught some flak from the police in a prior vehicle with my radar detector so now I just keep it under the limit or I would be jumping on this.
