Remember these are plug and play for your existing power mirror wiring. You don't need to wire up the lights to swap them onto your truck, that can happen at a later date!

 

I think the chrome is reducing the interest. How difficult would it be to prep and paint the mirror body and the currently black mount to match the truck it will be put on. I'm mainly wondering about the mirror itself - the surface and materials, not how to match paint to the truck.

 

The whole thing can be disassembled to paint it. It could also be painted by taping everything off, but it would be hard to get paint around the mirror glass. The glass just pops off though.

I just don’t have time or facilities to paint it at this point. I leave for Italy in 2 days and then I’ll be moving across the country in September.

If someone wants to get these, they need to do it in the next couple of weeks, otherwise they will be packed away for a while.
