You should not make fun of special needs kids. You ever consider members on here actually have kids that are special needs and have disabilities? Obviously you don't have one, because you wouldn't have said that if you did. Your posts up to this one were quite funny; however, as a father of one this post pissed me off.

 

Ease up there...... I HAVE a special needs son, and that is specifically why I feel okay making the joke.

He is a medical train wreck, and will have life-long complications from his syndrome. We (and he) choose to address his syndrome with openness and humor - making the most of the situation.

I would much prefer that when he hears people making fun of his syndrome, he laughs it off as humor, not as a personal attack.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, since you are a father of one I should ease up. I pictured you some young shit that didn't have a kid. My kid is still young enough he doesn't know he has a disability. Learning as I go and still figuring it out. I appreciate your outlook on the subject.
