not for nothing but at the OPs asking price, these would be the cheapest thing to knock off your list of mods first... just saying

Is this your grill? If so they should be able to surface mount right on them. The grill is whats carrying the weight of the pods anyways.

If not then you would want to reenforce the where the mesh mounts to the grill. The mesh itself should be tough enough to hold the lights.

No that's just from Google. Mine is 14 gauge mesh but only supported around the perimeter by some 1" L brackets, has more flex front to rear than I'd like for these pods. I could probably run some 1/2" angle aluminum and screw it into the top/bottom of the grill surround, then rivet some aluminum around the hole to mount the lights to. Do the pods weigh about the same as the 40w floods I got? See y'all have me thinking about this instead of work :pccoffee: LALALALA :lalala: I'm not thinking about this any more!!

Edit: of course they're about the same weight, minus the threaded post but add the flush bezel.

You wouldn't happen to have pics of these in action or mounted on a bumper?

Let me see if I can find something. They mount just like a Rigid flush mount, so googling that would give you a pretty good idea.

Plug and play if I decide to mount them as fog lights?

Yes sir comes with its own switch, fuse, and connectors. I would suggest using the hot leg of the oem wiring to trigger. Connect the ground, neutral and hot leg to battery and presto you're in
