found my set of V3s in my desk at work today. forgot about them after upgrading to V4s. cosmetically great looking, one might need new weather stripping depending on your OCD. have them boxed up and ready to go.

Anyone know the difference between v3 and v4? After reading the threads it seems like they are the same except for how bright the led strip is?

 

Thats my understanding also. The V3 is pretty bright compared to stock though. I guess the V4 is blinding bright!

 

i think the colour is also a bit different. i forget which way, but i think the V4s are a bit darker/ amber-er. i upgraded because they matched the LEDs i put in the headlamp turn signals better. OCD, i know, but sometimes i like to throw money at forum members making bitchin' products.

 

Does the V3 or V4 match better with the turn as tail lights? I have a V3. Maybe I should check....LOL I have a bit of OCD myself but I never see my signals on outside when I am driving, only the other people....I just want to make sure they are bright enough so they SEE me!

 

"turn as tail lights"? sorry, i don't follow. but every iteration of Stew's signal lights are wayyy brighter than stock. trust me. i've had every version hahha.

but honestly, i wouldn't worry about those matching. i can't envision a scenario where you (or an onlooker) would be seeing both at the same time.
