My exact question. Difference in v3 and v4 is the v4 similar to the limited edition with switchback capability? @mesojdm ?
Also when do you think the V5s will be ready? I read a while back you mentioned that those will be built from ground up. What options will those come with. Just trying to weigh out if it’s worth’s wait. Thank you again for the feedback.

 

My plan is to snag some of these V4s and then snag the V5 Switchbacks when they’re available. I’m 2 for 2 so far on Meso drops.

 

Here's the scoop:

V3= I was using plastic housings from a manufacture that already made replacement "OEM" lights. I then designed my own internals, and paired them all together.
V4= I made all the plastics from the ground up. All new molds, tinted plastic, etc to MY specs/design. Then I doubled the LED's on the internal strip.

So V4's are 100% custom made BY me, and are the brightest version I have made thus far. Not saying the previous version are bad.. they have just been improved upon.

As for the V5's..I do not have any ETA on those because they require additional wiring(not plug and play) and more engineering for the internal circuit.

 

Do the v4s have switchback capabilities?? @mesojdm ?

Those ones used diode dynamics boards. I probably will not because I’m focusing on making my own switchbacks for V5
