SOLD....... Harness for bed/cargo lights with relay new $60

Selling this wiring harness custom made by Dave Eeasa, new never got around to installing. Comes with CH4X4 switch, relay and enough length to run to the bed/bed rack for rear cargo lights. $60 shipped, I'll take only Zelle as payment.

 

I don’t have a need for it but I can say Dave makes really nice harnesses and uses good quality components. I’ve custom made most of my own harnesses and it’s not as easy as it looks. This is worth the cost.

 

I believe I did this as ground switched so one caveat here is that the light won't light up when pressed, or at least I don't think it will. But you get free cargo switch illumination out of it which is cool. It is 3rd gen specific, though you could hack it up for 2nd gen with some source for switch illumination and a ground wire.

I could probably convert it to power switched so the switch will light up, but that means sourcing power via add a fuse in the cab or sending two wires through the firewall, one as power in, one as switched power out.

At one point I thought about doing these as a legit item but it's just so much easier to hack one of the cheapo light harnesses for a custom switch (many come with round/oval yucky universal switches).

Anyway, if anyone buys this I can try to explain wtf I was thinking

 

Does this harness tie into the oem cargo switch or is this just a completely independent switch/harness?

 

Ties into the Oem cargo switch for illumination and a ground. You can see the transparent connectors in the bundle, they match the cargo connector.

 

So the aux lights will act and be activated the same as the rear cargo light mounted on the cab?

Note for everyone else, it does include a short Toyota CH4X4 switch

 

If nobody wants it, I can buy it back at asking price and use for fog lighting in my ‘05 and stash the cargo T for something else.

 

Anyone want this for $60 shipped? The relays are probably worth more

 

You can just send it back to me and I'll send you your original asking price my man, no trouble at all. I should be stuffing this in my own truck anyway.
