Hey all,

These lights were purchased as take-offs from a 2018 tacoma, I forget how many miles but if I recall it was less than 5k. They were in perfect condition when I received them. I picked them up so that I would have no downtime with my truck while doing a BHLM (black headlight mod). While I had them open Meso released his led side markers so I picked them up and installed them (stage 2 $170). I had these lights installed on my truck for about a month and have been really happy with them.

Once I got my original lights off I thought that I was going to resell them but I got the itch to open them up Sooooo.... I did another BHLM and did an amber turn signal cover. I wanted to add a little amber so that it would match my new Morimoto amber fogs.

I'd like to sell these pretty much for what I have in them - $725 shipped (CONUS) or if you want to do a trade, and you have headlights in near perfect condition and low miles, I'll take your headlights (shipped) + $275. (they can't have broken tabs, scratches, etc) If you haven't done a BHLM it is terribly time consuming and a pain in the ass. You also take the risk of setting your house on fire... that has to be worth something

These were done right and are sealed back up with retrorubber. They have performed flawlessly and the sidemarkers are insanely bright. You will need to tap your DRL, turn signal and sidemarker wires in order to get power to the led sidemarkers.

All of the mounting tabs are intact and bulbs included.

• The housing has some blemishes from separating the headlight. One of the lower plastic hooks/clip broke off. This doesn't effect the light at all and you can't even see it when it is installed. Also at the end of the driverside plastic housing split around the screw so I just used some jbweld to seal it back together - again you can't even see this when installed. Very minor but I want to mention everything.
• There is a hairline scratch on the driverside lens. This must happened when removing. It is hardly noticeable in pictures. I'm sure it can be compounded out.
• I used krylon matte black paint and taped off the ring around the low beam light to mimic the pro light.

I'm sure whoever gets these will be very happy. I'm just trying to be as detailed as possible. Buy these off of me before I change my mind and swap them back on

Damn this is tempting. I do have my oem lights in a box because I want to do a bhlm on them, but I want mine with the amber acrylic cover also. Hmmmmmmm

If I didn't already have 3 sets of headlights I'd be all over these for that price with the @mesojdm marker lights. Someone is going to get a steal.

 

If these had been upgraded with rx350’s I’d be all over it. Glws!

 

For those hesitant to do the BHLM but want the RX350's, this Is a great deal, he's done the hard work removing the factory sealant, these would be easy to open and do the RX350s and then seal back up.

Hey @mesojdm, I did another BHLM on my original set with an amber acrylic turn signal lens. I would have liked to get another pair of your sidemarkers but they weren't in stock How hard is it to open them up with the retro rubber? I may pick up another pair from you. They are awesome.

Now that I know how to crack these babies open I'm going to keep an eye out for another stock pair to build up on the side.
