    No, those are valid points, that's why I'm back in a Tacoma. If I could have had both I would have and I do miss a lot of aspects of it but in the end I need a Tacoma.

    Buy the intake. You'll like it. Pair it with the accelerator that attaches to the TRD box. Cold air intake for $130.

    I already have the mishimoto intake tube and I've definitely been considering the TRD accelerator. My only hesitation has been why was the stock intake part shape the way it is? Like was that to help with preventing water intrusion or something? It just seems like the TRD accelerator would have been better from the get-go so I figured there was a reason for the shape of the stock one.

    I did the same thing with the KN intake tube and air flow accelerator and liked the setup

    Hard to say. For how cheap they are seems like it would've been better to put them in all air boxes. Since it doesnt change the intake height, i would be concerned about water intake. But here we are paying more for them so...

    I had a 2015 wrx and it was my first subie. I had so many issues with it. Lol i bought the truck and kept the wrx for awhile and traded it in last year for a 2022 xse Dont get me wrong, it was a fun car. Just the issues were annoying
