    If it’s like the one by toyota it connects to the door lock circuit and your normal remote will lock and unlock with the doors.

    Is it the one that has the button for the inside? Does it lock and unlock as well? How’s the actuator, seems like the forums have some issues with this?

    They are easy to install and work fine. They are plug and play and you do not need to splice into any factory wires. They unlock the tailgate with the factory fob. The forums do not have a problem with the unit itself but with the original seller KTJO and for good reason. I am also assuming that this is for the unlock module which is similar to the Pop-N-Lock. She also made an opener that would drop down the tailgate but I don't have any experience with that.
