    I got this switch as part of a wiring kit and wound up using an Air On Board switch instead. The switch works just fine, it just would not fit in the switch blank on my second gen. It comes with the jumper wires on the back to tie in the hot, ground and relay. The back light is amber. When it is turned off, the "Off-road Lights" lettering is illuminated. When it is turned on, the light bulb icons are illuminated. It can be wired so that the interior light dimmer also dims the switch if you like. I will include the wiring diagram with the pin outs for the switch and two female spade connectors.

    Just so that this is not missed (Not trying to be offensive with the all caps. I just do not want a misunderstanding.)

    IT WILL NOT FIT 2ND GEN SWITCH BLANKS UNLESS THE BLANKS ARE TRIMMED

    Here is how it is currently wired:

    Red without the tape is ignition hot wire
    Black is ground
    Red w\white is to the relay.

    I have no idea. The description for this thing said that it would 'fit most automotive switch blanks'. I do not know how much different (if they are indeed different) 1st gen blanks are from 2nd gen blanks. Wish I could tell you.
