**TRUCK IS SOLD! Sorry to those who missed it!**

Hi everyone, I am selling my 2001 Tacoma SR5, 4WD, MANUAL 5-speed, extended cab with Rear Locker, TRD. 231k miles. I have tried to itemize and present this truck as perfectly clear and transparent as possible.

If you are looking for an uber-clean 1st gen, this truck is seriously minty. I have owned a bunch of 3rd gen 4runners and tacomas of the gen, with half the miles and haven't been nearly as clean as this one!

Link to huge album of 150+ detailed photos:
    https://flic.kr/s/aHsmVJZ5nC

    Link to walkaround video:
    https://youtu.be/HlSrlaPj4ok

Some basic information about the truck:

    • 2001 Model Year
    • 5-Speed Manual
    • Extended Cab, TRD Off-Road, Rear Locker
    • 4x4
    • 231, xxx miles
    • 3 owners since new (I have the carfax, it shows 5 owners but 1-3 we're the same)
    • Texas Truck since new, absolutely ZERO RUST.
    • Unusually CLEAN inside and out. Very well cared for.
    • Lots of recent maintenance, see below.
    • Clean, clear TEXAS title in-hand.
    • Priced at $12,900 OBO
    • Located in Orlando, FL

    Onto a few pictures:

    More detailed information:

This truck was purchased new in Texas and remained with the first owner for 10 years. The truck has never been off-road from what I can tell. This is a very nicely optioned and loaded Tacoma and every single thing works. Power windows work, locker, 4x4, AC, cruise everything is functional. I bought this truck with the intent to keep it for a long time, but with an upcoming wedding, I unfortunately have too many toys and this one needs to go.

The frame has ZERO rust. Some of the photos show a reddish hue on the frame, that's good old Texas clay on top of the factory undercoat. Truck hasn't seen salt ever. Carfax indicates it's stayed in Texas since new, until I bought it where it went to Florida.

All paint and panels are original, with original paint in excellent condition, still shines and has no clear coat failure. Always stored under a carport or garage kept since new. Truck has camper top in excellent shape which will be included with sale at asking price. There is also a platform to go along with the camper which is easy to remove or store.

Has a Kenwood touch screen Excelon stereo, Kenwood Amp, sound great and add a nice bit of functionality with bluetooth and phone etc.

The truck currently has 231,xxx miles and will not go up that much until sold. I have too many cars unfortunately and don't drive any of them enough. The 3.4L 5vz-FE runs perfectly with no noise, ticking, squeaking, leaking, or anything weird. The truck runs and drives perfectly, with no shakes, rattles, shimmies, or noises. Brakes are good for stock Tacoma brakes. Transmission shifts smooth with no issues, clutch grabs with no problem.

The interior is very clean, no stains, rips, damage of any sort. There is absolutely no funky smells, mildew, smoke smell, or anything odd. It honestly still smells kind of new, crazy.

Comes with 3 keys, original owners manual and books, and a stack of service receipts.

    Some recent maintenance includes:

    • NEW OEM LBJs. This was done under 5k miles ago.
    • Brand new OEM Denso Radiator with <30k miles.
    • Newer Bilstein Shocks all around, plenty of life left.
    • New Coolant Hoses
    • New Catalytic Converters
    • OEM Toyota timing belt has 50k miles on it
    • Valve cover gaskets done just last week.
    • Spark Plugs and Wires
    • New Michelin Tires in stock 265/70/16 tire size. Excellent tread with under 10k miles on them.

    List of Imperfections:

    • Front grill has some rock chips
    • A few light scratches typical of a 15 year old daily vehicle
    • Minor door ding on drivers door
    • Front bumper has a minor crack on passenger side.

Overall, this Tacoma would be an amazing start for a fun build, or a perfect daily driver.. I really wish I could hang onto it.

I am happy to assist with shipping. Shipping costs are your responsibility and I will make myself available to meet any transport company at my zip code.

    Terms of Sale:

    • Location: Clermont, FL 34715

    • Price: $12,900 OBO

    • Payment terms: Cash or Direct Wire Transfer Only (My car and title doesn’t leave my garage until the funds are moved into my account or cash is placed in my hand. Not trying to sound harsh but I will not lose the car or title to any fraud like activity. I am happy to provide references prior or during sale to help anyone.)

Live oak-Lake City. Little further North. I’m going to Jacksonville tomorrow and Gainsville Monday. I’ll talk with my wife about making a trip down there Tuesday, see what she says. I’ll let you know....if you still have it then. Lol.

It is a new windshield yes. One of the perks of Florida is that they will replace a windshield for free.

Thanks for the interest all, I had so many people wanting to scoop this gem up from all across the country, I wish I could have sold it to all of you but there was only one truck! A local Tampa buyer scooped this truck up last night.
