I sold my 2017 Taco in May and before selling it I removed the Remote starter (with phone module). Purchased and installed 8/19 and removed 4/20. So it was not used much. The Smart phone app works great and I really liked the ability to remotely start and cool\heat, lock and unlock the truck. As I work from home, it was also useful in running the truck once a week if it was not being used.

I have unregistered this from my phone\truck and it can easily be re-registered. I have instructions and registration info.

Is this 100% plug and play or do you have to cut the green wire or whichever wire it is?

 

N2design remote start is 100% plug and play for push to starts.

I have this remote start, taking your time takes no more than an hour to install.

Yes I just double checked (as it's been ~ a year since I installed) and as Slowland said..all P-N-P for my Push to Start 2017.
