If you are running the TRD Pro front suspension parts they are side specific and already account for the lean. One side is longer than the other.

If you mean Bro lean(front higher than the back) then there are many different options. I have both Firestone air bags and the Icon progressive 3 AAL. The air bags are generally aired down when I am not towing anything.

I am running the pro suspension, installed on the right sides and it wasn't enough to combat the taco lean with aftermarket springs. Anyone else have this issue? I double checked measurements front fender to hub center and it's 5/16" higher on the passenger side in the front and 5/8" in the back

A tiny bit of lean isn’t a bad thing!

Are the Deaver springs side specific?

I don't mind a little lean but 5/8" in the back seems excessive and can be visibly seen from afar. I just picked up a 1/4" plate but I'm worried it will net me too much lift and I'll be leaning the other way

I'm thinking of dropping the driver side 6112 to the first snap ring and then throw the 1/4" plate on but I'm not sure if this will just net the same result. I'm not sure if the first two TRD Pro 6112 rings match the standard 6112s. The Bilstein 6112 instructions has ring 1 rated at 0.60" and ring 2 at 1.08" of lift

The Deavers aren't side specific but I was told to loosen and retorque the leaf bolts incase something is bound up and remeasure. When I installed them I waited until the vehicle weight was on the springs to torque everything.

Loosened the leaf bolts, jumped on my sliders and rocked the truck around and remeasured, no changes. I decided to bite the bullet and try the 1/4" plate and remeasure to see if I'd even need to back the driver side ring down.

After installing it and re-torquing everything at ride height I initially netted another inch of lift in the front! Took it for a test drive and loosened/re-torqued everything and it settled a bit.

Weirdly enough I gained about 3/16" on both driver and passenger front side. Only gained ~1/16" on the DR. Now I'm sitting at 3/16" lean in the front and about 7/16" in the back. This was all at about 1/2 a tank of gas. I guess this is as good as it'll get, I'm tempted to just remove the top plate spacer as it didn't do much

I'm very confused how a 1/4" plate results in a 1" lift on both sides... Lol what the hell are you doing over there.

My truck is level side to side and front and back. My truck pre lift was also level though. Maybe that matters, maybe not. I do have HD Dakars in the rear and both leafs had + signs on them.

Haha I was just as confused, it must've been from having the suspension unloaded in the air for a bit. Still doesn't make sense I didnt get 1/2" and I checked my measurements multiple times

Hi Guys. I finally installed my rear Bilsteins and added an Icon AAL also. I stress finally- it’s been sitting in my garage for over a year. How did you tighten the nylon nut on the top of the shock? I bought all new bushings and just held the shock body with my hand and tightened the nut with a 17mm wrench. I did not want to damage any threads on the shock. Thanks for the late response!!!

You'll be very happy, it's a great kit for the money! It looks like you have it tightened down. Obviously, it's a nylock nut, so it's not going to back off, you just want to tighten it until it squishes the rubber bushing slightly in-between the washers, there is no need to torque the nut.

Thanks for the quick response! The bushings were brand new so they didn’t budge much. I don’t think they are going anywhere but just wanted another opinion. Hopefully I will get the fronts done this weekend. Thanks again!

No problem. Get it done and enjoy it, I ran this kit on my truck for about a year before I upgraded to a heavier coilover. The ride is very comparable to the higher end brands.

Another question for those that have installed on a 3rd Gen. Did you guys install the brake line spacer provided with the kit? I’m on the fence with this one. Thanks!!!

It shouldn't even be a question. The spacer is a must.

I have a new setup for sale but I'm in south Texas 78541, the boxes is torn up. I never installed it and sold my tacoma. $850 local pickup is preferred but I can drive up to San Antonio on the weekends. Let me know
