For sale are plug-and-play harnesses that are designed to illuminate switches in your overhead console without the need to splice your factory wiring. This harness plugs-in to the existing 24-pin connector that powers/controls the stuff around your sunglasses holder (such as the vanity lights, moon roof control switch if you have it, traction control switch, etc.). To use, you simply unplug your existing 24-pin connector, plug the male-end of my harness into your factory connector, and then plug the female-end of my harness into the 24-pin housing on your console. You then use the breakout wires to run illumination (+) & variable (-) to your new switches.

For now, these are going to run $50/ea TYD in the lower 48.

Supply is very limited while I look at ways to more efficiently populate 24-pins so that I don't have to charge so much for such a simple functional device :anonymous:.

One thing I would like to mention: If you are interested in this connector and know for-sure that this connector doesn't have all 24-pins populated on your truck let me know and I'll build you one that is lighter weight and cheaper. For example... I have an SR and my 24-pin only has 8 pins populated. However, the Pro has just about every bell and whistle so this connector has nearly all slots taken. Shoot me a photo of your connector so I can verify your pin-out and we'll go from there. If not you get the harness shown in the stock photo.

I'd like one to break out that #16 wire for ign switched (and a ground) for the dash camera as we talked about earlier...I'll check and see how pins are used on my 2017 TRD Sport with the tech package and auto dimming mirror and compass.

Here are 2 photos of the connector...looks like all but one of the pins are used...and not much in the way of color-coding either.

Nice! Definite group buy material. @Puppypunter made me one a while ago and I'm almost capable of making this if I had the pins and connectors.

One suggestion, I've standardized on JST SM 2 pin connectors for dimmed illumination since there are many sources of splitters available for cheap and also it's super easy to get new pigtails and start over.

There will most likely be a group buy for overhead, left of steering wheel, and lower dash at some point. The issue isn’t really making them — it’s more sourcing materials.

JSTs are pretty great! I’ll have to look into making some samples with jumpers.

Nice that you are picking this up. Lapoltba has been busy dealing with work stress and hasn’t been able to make it happen yet.

here is the switch illumination injector I need to install someday. Just don't have the illumination source in the center yet, only the A pillar tap and haven't installed that either. Too busy drilling holes in my 120v electrical wires right now (not on purpose).

Very clean! Those CH4x4 connectors are pretty easy to source.

All these bad boys are spoken for. Thanks everyone who purchased a harness! Looking forward to hearing your feedback.
