Very interesting. Need to check bed dimensions and see if my current racks will still fit with this basket. Looking like it might be a little on the wide side :(.

Just being mounted to the brackets keeps the seam together.

I like the look of this basket, I need to come up with a way to mount it on top of my cap, have you thought about making crossbars for bed caps?

I kind of wish you would stop making and designing all this great stuff. I am still saving up for the tail gate protector.

As far as the side caps, they wouldn't work on mine since I have a roll bar that is bolted to part of the brackets.. But they look really nice. I would suggest the thicker one, since most people have a tendency to lean over the sides.

How about making that a roof rack? That would be cool.

At some point. My brain needs time to percolate. I would want an original design. Just copying somebody else's design with a slight twist is not my style.

Out of curiosity, how far apart are the mounting holes that go to the brackets?

Can these be broken down to half size? I am looking for a basket but only want it about half the size.

Ideally I want it to go across the bed not the length of the bed. Just looking for a shelf like storage shelf to hold a second rown of containers above the row in the bed against the back of the cab

It can't really be broken down. Maybe the CMS is more for you?
