safe to say these dump tubes don't work with OVTuned turbo then?

 

no not with a turbo kit.

i have the original prototype set of these, but i haven't installed them yet, either. before exchanging for these i had the original prototype set of catless dump tubes. but they leaked so badly that i replaced them with stock cats 24 hours later. now i run stock cats with a custom media-less exhaust after that. the catted tubes are going in later this year with a tuned Y pipe.

the reason I'm posting is to say that when i got the first set of dump tubes from Mat i also obtained a 93oct beta tune file for catless dump tubes specifically, and that is where the big change came from. the tubes need the file and in my fairly strong opinion you need a similar open style exhaust to get the motor to perform while NA. but it is definitely possible. these are good as part of the plan but incomplete on their own.

OMG! SO TEMPTING but I would need 2 weeks to get them. These will still pass VA emissions correct? Stock exhaust except MBRP dual catback exhaust.
