Sold my Tacoma so I have no need for these shocks I waited 7 months for. Now lead times are up to a year. I am in no rush to sell, the lead times will only get longer.

King 2.5x12 with Adjusters bought through CaliFab (placed an order through PolyPerformance).

Archive Garage Shock Towers. Brand new bought from Accutune, comes with everything.

I am selling as a combo package, I will not split. $2400 takes it home. Pickup only in Irvine, CA. Thank you

This is probably the wrong thread, but what are the benefits of a "smoothie" setup versus a standard extended travel king? Also good luck with sale, smokin deal

I believe "smoothie" just refers to the lack of bypass tubes. Bypass tubes are little "J" shaped tubes that extend from the side of the shock body, and allow dampening adjustments at various points throughout the shock's travel.

The benefit of these shocks, being 12" versus the stock +/-9" (don't quote me on that length) is that your rear axle gets more travel. However, being that it's a longer shock, you need to relocate the shock mounts, so the shock can "fit" between the shock mount and the axle. This mod isn't for the faint of heart, but it makes for a huge improvement offroad. If you find yourself getting that 3-wheel motion when offroading, then this setup could potentially be your solution.

Please fact check everything above, if you're considering this purchase.

Thanks for the breakdown. Is there a benefit to no bypass?

I suppose it's less points of failure. Also, I'm not sure if the bypass tubes will clear the shock relocation kit... but most people run 12" smoothies. I suspect it's cost and complexity related.

Less adjustability, so not exactly a benefit. These have comp. adjusters which are practically internal bypasses.

External bypasses are noisy and expensive. Most just run smoothies cause they clear, are cheaper, and are more than enough unless you’re really beating on the truck.

I know you said you won’t part but if you change your mind I’ll take the smoothies of you. I live in LA. Have cash in hand.

I purchased the archive garage relocation kit from archive last week so all I need are those exact smoothies. LMK. Thanks.

Not that I how a dog in this fight at all, but I’m just curious as to why no shipping seeing as it’s already boxed up. You just buy a label online, print it out and drop the box off at ups.

Just busy with life right now. It’ll sell local and less stress - I have had items show up “damaged” and it’s a headache.

I bought it for my access cab long bed, so if so, it's the same thing.
