Had these on the truck for over 3 years then they stopped working all of a sudden. Will come on the one will go out. Then both went out. Bulbs are good so not sure what is wrong with them. All inside is matte black. They never leaked or had condensation as the butyl tape used was sealed really well. Lenses could use refinishing as well but light output is phenomenal. All tabs are in tact on the back. Looking for $150 OBO will ship on buyers dime. Local pickup in Raleigh NC area. Could be an easy fix for someone who knows how to fix them or has the time to mess with them. I do not know where the parts and internals are from as they were on the truck when I bought them. Let me know if you have any questions.

In my experience when retrofits are going out like this its either the ballasts or relays. I had this issue with my retrofits and I had to replace the ballasts to fix the issues. Still sounds like a great price for someone to get into a set of retrofits!

What type of ballasts did you have?

Just had this happen and found the power going into the ballast wasn't making a good connection and turning on and off. Eventually killing the bulb. I pulled the ballast out. The harness was loose. To get a better connection. I twisted the pins in the ballast. So far I haven't had any further issues.

Yea it seems like a fairly easy fix I just don’t have the time to mess with them and went a different route. Surely someone can score these and have a set of retros.

These are nice but whoever built them REALLY wanted to make sure they were sealed
