I had the first prototype of these on my truck with 700 lbs. springs for ~70,000 miles. They were a big improvement over the stock Bilsteins. And the adjustable valving is sweet for calibrating the truck to different road and trail conditions. Frankly, these are a deal for their performance. And, they are made by the same people who make the Bilsteins.

Rancho ended up changing the spring rate to something less than 700 lbs. for production - Sorry, I can't remember what the final rate was. I also got around 2.75" of lift up front with these. Notably, that's exactly what I got out of my Icon shocks from the factory. Just under 3" helps with driveline and CV issues, etc....

    GLWS!

Thanks for this added positivity man! These really are good shocks...especially for the money and the lifetime warranty they carry. You're lucky to get a year warranty out of shocks that are far more expensive. And that's cool that you ran their prototypes!

Both had a 2" AAL in the rear. Leveled them both near perfect. I'll try to add photos when I get to my laptop.

Here are the '16's that have the Ranchos in the front and a 2" AAL in the rear. The Inferno truck has a Trail Gear single leaf AAL. The Blue truck has a Wheelers 3-leaf AAL.

Quick question: did you have to do anything to the front other than installing the Rancho Quicklift's? Brake lines? UCA?

Nothing else needed, but you will get the alignment more true to factory specs with an aftermarket UCA. Camber and toe won't be an issue, but caster will be the tough one for a shop to dial in. I've never run UCA's in mine or others I've lifted and have no driveability or tire wear issues.

Brake lines have never been a problem either. Stocks will be fine.
