    Looks like a good deal!

Does this require 17" wheels or do the off-road's 16" clear the calipers?
Also where does the dust shield go? Pretty sure the 4Runner uses dust shields behind the rotor just like the front of our trucks

The dust shield wasn't on the list of items from Tundra Racing, so I'm not sure about that. This should be the same size as stock 4-Runner rear brakes, it's not the big brake kit, so best option would be to see what rimsize/backspacing fits a stock 4-Runner.

They only fit 17" and up but that's because of the fronts. So that doesn't help answer it

Sorry I couldn't help, but their website doesn't list any restrictions except that it only fits 2005-2018 6-lug Tacomas.

Thanks, yeah, me too. Couldn't believe all that hard work gone in an instant, Houston traffic sucks, people just don't pay attention. I've got a protruding disc in my neck and waiting on surgery...hasn't been a fun two months.

There are no dust shields with the SOS rear kit. I have it and don't have dust shields.

And do you know if 16" wheels clear the rear calipers? What is the orientation of the caliper? Is it the same 2 o'clock position as the 4Runner and Tundra?

I'm not sure if it would clear 16" wheels, you should check with SOS to make sure.

In terms of the caliper orientation... yes, it is the same 2 o'clock (driver side), 10 o'clock (passenger side).

I'm running the rear kit before the SOS BBK kit in the front. Which is still sitting in my garage. The upgrade to disks in the rear is very subtle, I would have to describe the feeling as being a tiny little bit "smoother" than drums. I haven't noticed and additional stopping power with normal driving/stopping.

From what everyone says, you will notice the change with the BBK front kit since they do most of the actual braking.
