These are in excellent shape and were only used for about 6 months. They’re all cleaned up and ready to rock! I’m located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I need some new UCA and want these shocks out of my garage.

$300 is the price now! Who wants them?!

Local pick up only- they will cost too much to ship.

Any chance I can ask why you took them off? I’m on the fence about doing a full vertex set up as I’ve had bad luck but 5100s going bad on me and thought I’d give these a try maybe take them off your hands even though I’m down in southern Cali.

Just a bit too high. My wife is only 5 foot so decided to stick to the stock fox shocks.
I actually just got the dimensions and weight for another member who was asking about shipping. See below and I’m area code 94015 if you want to see what it would cost.
    Box length: 2’6”
    Box width: 1’
    Box height: 6”
Weight for each shock approx 30.5lbs

Damn either I messed up on the quote or something but shipping shows almost 200 bucks might be better to go pick them up myself and hit some trails while I’m up there.

Oh there will be some mods all right
So these are adjustable right? Did you already try cranking down the preload and they wouldn't go low enough?

Dang, that’s a lot. What carrier did you use and did you do ground?
What’s your zip? I can do some digging too.

They are adjustable but a three inch lift on our trucks looks perfect!
I could have adjusted them down but it just didn’t make sense to crank them down when I had my stock fox still on hand.

    Did more shipping research and
Per dimensions of the box of
    30inches length
    12 inches height
And 6 inches width with combine weight of 61 pounds (30.5 each shock )

usps quotes 82 bucks shipping which doesn’t sound bad at all. Now it’s tempting

Oh that’s not bad at all. Glad you were able to look that up…I have it on my to do list, but haven’t had time.
I have some side steps up for sale too and ups wanted 400 to send because of the dimensions!
Well let me know if I can take any more pics for you.

From what I was able to find it is 600lb.
Now that’s just based off internet research, other TW members and I don’t even know if it’s relevant but there’s a sticker on the coil that shows the number 600.
When I called rough country to inquire they said it’s 3rd party info and they don’t know.

RC can’t tell you the spring rate of the springs they use in their product? I realize the springs are most likely outsourced from another company, but they should at least know the specs of the components they use. Perhaps I am expecting too much. But in my line of work, if I didn’t have detailed knowledge about my products, I wouldn’t have a job for long.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised they didn’t know.
But the rep asked how they work and I answered great…he said “well there you go!”
I just laughed at that point and thanked him for his time.

So the vertex comes in two different shocks sizes. The 3” and 6”.

This set is 3” lift at full height and from what I gather you can’t go lower than 2”
