I'm selling my SSP for $150 shipped (free shipping). I had bought it before I bought the truck, but I never installed it. I did plug it in to verify that it works.

Going a different direction with my upgrades and would like the money elsewhere.

Just keep it bro. It felt weird a first for me. Now that I'm used to it, is probably the best mod I've done so far. 150$ probably won't be as noticeable anywhere else.

If you never hooked it up and drove with it for awhile, I would do that first and test it out for a month. It did take some getting used to and I thought it didnt make a difference until I put the truck in D (because I forget to put it in S) and felt like WTF, something feels sluggish with the truck, then I realize its not in S. One of the best investments made on the truck!

Appreciate the suggestions. I'm sure it makes a difference (as is apparent in the big thread in the 3rd Gen subforum...which is why I ordered it before my truck had arrived), but I could really use the money on other things and I've been content with the ECT mode for now. Of course, depending on my next assignment, that might change once I move next summer.

I guess I should add that part of the reason is that I want to use the OBDII port for my DashCommand app. From what the instructions say, it may not reliably work if I put in a port splitter.

Thats true. If I needed to use the OBD port for another fast polling device, I probably wouldnt use the SSP also. Hope you sell it soon.

How about $138 so you can use the extra $12 for the new V2 chip?
